Default Re: First Oil Change

I got mine done Monday with 7500 miles indicated. The fss display never came on. When I asked the tech (DC trained for our car) he said there is a sensor which detects when the oil needs changing and it might not come on till 10k!! Oil, filter, reset and check and fill all fluids $114. I bought my Quad cab from this dealer and they have a small but competent service department. They wouldn't come off the price (32k) back in Sept. When I bought mine (they still have 4 of the 5 they had then). Even so, they didn't mind servicing mine and told me to come in for warranty work as well since they are closer to me than the dealer I bought from. I thought that was decent of them! I've read so many posts of horror stories at DC dealers, I thought You'd like to see that many are very good.
