Your title mentions 'hope and assistance', according to pizzaguy hope has sadly gone so you'll have to settle for assistance.
Where do you fail? you have them in your gallery. I think you are probably failing to highlight the flashing cursor before selecting your gallery photo, in which case the photo is entered outside of your thread.
