I also changed mine with just jacking up the one side (drivers side), but make sure to use a jack stand since you will have to turn the wheels to access one of the bolts, if I remember correctly, but yes its a very easy job to do, it will take you longer to jack up the car and remove the splash sheild to get at the stabilizer, than it will take to replace the stabilizer. You should use lock tight on the threads when you re-install the bolts/nuts.
