That argument does not hold water and is just an unfounded excuse for those that offer that point of view.. Mercedes has had quality issues for most of the 1990's and they have not been making smart decisions in other areas. Read these other articles. Chrysler has nothing to do with their problems and as mention above... Chrysler is keeping Mercedes afloat.
