As with any rear drive vehicle all have some problems, but the xfire is a decent car in the winter with the correct tires, the snow tires are the best to have, the xfires do slip some, but starting off in second gear helps, I had michelins the first set and they where terible in the snow, then I had conti's which where way better and now I have generals uhp's and did good last winter, I also live in Michigan, but wont take the xfire out on really bad days/deep snow and such.
