I just checked www.chryslerwarrantys.com. For all there plans the end date is from the date the vehicle was originally purchased not the purchase date of the warranty. So a 7 year warranty for my 2005 ends in 2 years. Not worh it unless it was from purchase date of warranty.

"End Year provided here is only an estimate. Actual end date is calculated from the vehicle's original in-service date"
