Re: Potential Future Aftermarket Products for Crossfires
Infinite, you keep referencing "full-blown" racing modifications, as if a supplier of any magnitude would create that for the general public.
Regarding the front bumper/diffusers, I think the vast majority of us want something that adds a bit of function and some improved styling, all while retaining a somewhat factory look. In other words, keep it classy, San Diego.
You seem to only want things that would make the car non-drivable for most daily tasks... something best left for one-off situations, not necessarily as a design study for an already strangled aftermarket.
Clean, classy, universally PRACTICAL... those will be traits of a bumper that not only gets produced, but also sells.
And you seem to be obsessed with JGTC... seems to me like you've bought the wrong car. The Crossfire is a touring coupe with a smooth drivetrain and unique, classy styling... not a Japanese sports car.
If you're going to take the uphill path of turning a touring coupe into a proper sports car, at least reference DTM,which would be closer to the Mercedes heritage... not JGTC.
All JGTC cars are race cars, but not all race cars are JGTC.
Nitpicky, yes.... but I had to say it.
