My stomach started to knot up thinking someone had backed into it (this recently happened to my daughter’s car while parked at DQ).
When I told him it was mine, he began to rave about it and offered to buy it on the spot! I told him that it wasn’t for sale (I’ve had it for just eight months). He insisted on buying it and began to tell customers that this was going to be his new car. He insisted that I take his name and number in case I do sell it one day.
I have to admit that it felt good to see my car get the attention. After taking pictures of it to show his girlfriend, he took me inside showed me the best wax to use on “his” car.
Greetings, wildcat, from St. Marys, Kansas. I've had my Roadster since April. Hardly a day goes by that I don't have someone from this area commenting on my car.
Last week, I pulled into the local gas station. I was in the store, waiting in line, and I heard a fella ask another clerk: "Do you own that beautiful car out there?"
After I took care of business, I walked out and the fella was still sitting in his car. As I walked toward my car, he said: "Man, that's a beautiful car!"
I thanked him and he said: "That is gorgeous!" As he drove off slowly, I could see him shaking his head and he just kept repeating: "Gorgeous!"
A lady from Overland Park owned my baby before me. She took great care of it.
