Ah - that clears it up then. IIRC the car in question was an 05 model, mine is an 06, which would explain the difference in colour. Thanks, all.

I have to say that I do really like the colour of mine - in direct sunlight, it sparkles and the colour has a lot of depth - there seems to be no actual surface to touch.
