Just curious if any headway has been made on replacing the stock amp in the factory location? I'm toying with pulling mine and the factory subs and selling them off to help fund a nice amp and set of components for the doors. I'll probably not replace the factory subs and add a sub to the trunk.

Cory, I think you are on the right track. I ended up with a second set of components in mine, as well as subs in the trunk. The added highs are much needed for the added bass, but it sounds AWESOME.
Let me know if you end up with anything in the factory amp location, but between possible moisture and lack of cooling, I would not attempt this....
