When I got the car the orginal Conti's had deep side wall cracks in them - so they were replaced immed. went with Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's - thought they were great till about 14,000 miles when they became loud almost screaming - keep them on for another 4,000 miles - at 18,000 mile they were totally bald - not uneven wear - just smooth as slicks - went with Goodyear again but went with aal season. Have driven the car about 24,000 mile in 3 years - it's my daily car (unless it snows) but my commute is .6 miles a day.
