I'm betting it's simply the sound of the screws starting to compress air, remember as soon as the supercharger starts spinning it has to compress a standing column of air. The lysholm's compress air in the case as opposed to eatons which make pressure in te intake manifold, not the supercharger case itself.
Absolutely.
I was using a ZOOM H4n which is a pretty nice unit for simply recording. The problem is getting it online with out crazy compression and loss of quality.
I'll try some other options for recording.
Thanks to everybody putting up with this thread. I'm sure it's getting to be a little ridiculous...chasing a phantom sound...but its there!
