Re: Potential Future Aftermarket Products for Crossfires
Someone with the talent and production capabilities might look into the variety of parts available for the early Mustangs restoration pieces, i.e.; Fender panels, rear quarters, hoods, trunks, and interior stuff.
I’ve watched the production of the carbon fiber hood, while interesting, it’s expensive and I just wonder about the use of sheet metal or fiberglass.
Looking at some of the pictures of wrecks shown at various times in here, which many seem to be dedicated to the front end of the car, I would think someone would consider that area of the car with reproduction pieces.
From what I’m reading the future availability of factory body panels isn’t that bright. I see the same story time and again in here, the insurance totaled the car and I see the picture and scratch my head thinking they’ve got to be kidding. But I suppose the real issue is the limited production of these cars and the lack of mass consumption of reproduction parts.
