I definitely just went through the same issue. Changed the oil this weekend, and am now wondering if I put the largest o-ring in the correct position...time to go check when I get home...if it was in the wrong position before, it is probably in the wrong position again knowing my haste to change the oil.


...also, some IPA will help you clean off your belt...that's Isopropyl Alcohol...not Indian Pale Ale (although a bottle or two of that will make any work on your car much better)


IPA is rubbing alcohol...just check the label to make sure it does in fact say Isopropyl Alcohol... it will clean off the oil without doing any damage to the hardened rubber...assuming you don't leave it on there for weeks... spray some on, wipe it off, should be good to go.


...I'm about to do the same thing, I hate taking my belt off though...anyone have suggestions for making it easier to belt on/off with a 185mm installed???
