Not sure about your problem but I will tell you the Michelins do not wear anywhere near where the Continentals do. My first set of P/S 's lasted a little over 11,000 miles. I was gonna switch brands but someone had a new set for sale at just about half price so I went with those. I have a buddy on the forum who has a roadster with Conti's and he got 3-4 times as much mileage out of his tires.
I don't spin the tires and I don't fly around curves, Michelins are very soft tires. Next time around I'm definitely switching brands.
