That good news, Khotani. I'm happy you found one to drive!

Now the official search for an SRT6 begins. The car I test drove today has 12,000 miles...a second owner car...price is $19,500.00. This car looks to be over priced based on what I have read on this forum. Depends - personally, that's not a bad price, IMHO. I purchased mine w/ 9900 miles for 19.9K & felt it was a good deal.

Questions:

1) Is it fair to assume I can expect to pay $16,000 to $18,000 for a coupe in excellent condition with less than 30,000 miles? Affirmative.

2) Is there a maximum mileage you recommend I don't exceed when purchasing a used SRT6? Like 70 mentions above; less is more but it depends on what you find out there & how you feel about mileage vs. price. Personally, depending on price, I would have no problem buying another one w/ 50K or above.

3) What are the pros and cons of purchasing a stock SRT6 verse an SRT6 with modifications? I would get nervous if i saw a bunch of mods. on a car that I didn't put there but that's just me. Still, there is something to be said for having the mods. already installed - saves you the time, cash & possible headaches.

4) Things to look for when purchasing a used SRT6? Repair history, if possible! Tires because they're expensive. Dents, dings, rust (especially under the doors & around the spoiler). Condition of obvious engine stuff: hoses, belts, battery. Interior smell & condition. Make sure all the goodies for the emergency tire repair kit are all there. Make sure you get 2 keys!
