We wouldn't let anyone drive either of our sports cars. There are some reasonable exceptions, but it would be unusual to have it happen. We know of one fellow who left his $100,000+ car at the dealers with explicit instructions that it not be driven off the property nor out of the dealership's repair building. He explained it had many modifications on the engine, the owner of the dealership was in agreement. A specialist from another Dealer also called and advised how to do the specific work needed for this guy and again don't drive this car anywhere. Sure enough the "writer" had to give it a try. He "left the road" at approx 75mph, the car is totaled.
My XF is pretty darn close to perfect. If it were to get mistreated or worse yet an accident I don't think I could replace it, I'd be really really "effected" and be looking to affect the person who did it. The car is a pleasure to own and drive. Except first gear
