Parroting the guy who commented on Vegas above, you really want to valet your car in this town (except on a busy weekend evening when you'll have to wait a half hour to get it back). The self-parking lots are ding magnets with a bunch of beaters parked helter skelter. He's also right about the valets wanting to avoid any customer complaints and therefore treating your car well. A valet position at a high-end hotel with an acceptable shift is a six figure annual job. I know one forty year old that's been doing it for twenty years--$300k home and kids in private school.
