I don't recall. NA Crossies aren't really drag cars. So I don't follow it too much.
Autos are faster on drags. No Question.That's why you see them more often than sticks at the track. But on road courses they aren't. So far. As the technology improves in the automatic, with double clutch systems and paddle controls giving the drivers more direct resposes, the auto will soon reign supreme there as well.
I'm not a stick guy because I think it is faster. I just prefer the direct, simpler control of the vehicle's progress over the ground.
That and the 6 spd unit is more reliable and cheaper to fix.
Besides, on interstate driving, even an SRT auto is a bore.
