I think he is looking at power under the curve, not peak. Look at the diff. between the "bag" and the dual at 2K rpm and 2.5K rpm. big difference there and a bit of an increase thru the entire rev range above 2.5K between the 2 also.
I am sure he will chime in, but that is what I have always understood him to mean.....power under the curve, not just peak.
