Savannah would be too much a drive, nearly 8 hours and I'm way too broke to even think about spending the night in a hotel somewhere, but I could do Atlanta for a day on the weekend.
It's only the 7th, so somebody figure something out.

pizzaguy, I'd suggest as an initial GTG you two just pick a place where we can gather for eats. I wouldn't try to make a really big deal out of this, especially since you're just trying to get things kicked-off in this region. Pick a restaurant (that can handle a group) with ample parking for our XFires (you know we're all picky about where we park!) and set a date this month. You guys know the area best. As I've stated before, the Merkur Club I used to be a member of met at the Dave & Busters along I-85 on the northside of Atlanta. Not my most favorite eatery, but plenty of parking and they can handle a group.
In this economy, driving a farther than normal distance to eat is probably not something most of us would do. But add into the mix the opportunity to meet other XFire Owners and you'd be surprised how many would show up.
