Obviously everyone will have their own opinions, but Chrysler IS in the business of making money. The Crossfire Roadster I'm sure cost much less R&D money than making a normal coupe a convertible, since the platform is meant for a convertible anyway (SLK). Plus the target demographic for the Crossfire is people 35-50 who are looking for a weekend/2nd sports/touring car. Many of those people want to have a convertible as their second weekend car, so there is a large market there. I for one thik they did a really good job with the convertible from what I've seen, and they stayed true to the Crossfire shape and design. I think it's going to be a huge hit.
