I can't say that they stripped the screw ,the tech said it was turning but not backing out so they couldn't remove the adapter, I ask them to put it back together and I got my car out of there, the leak is very minimal but any leak bugs the crap out of me , so I will either do it myself of take to a independent transmission shop, we have several good ones in the area so thats where i'm at with the leak .... you live you learn .

Mike your right it was the 60's ,wonder if theres a gasket for leaking memory.....
