Gone are the days when an axe could be used to cut through the cable that ran along the sidewalk from the sensor to the cop at the readout.
I once flashed a warning to a car that was speeding and heading into a speed trap. The cop saw my rear lights flash and jumped in his cruiser, did a u-turn and came after me.
So I started driving with one foot on the brake and made the brake light flash on and off every few seconds. Fooled, he did another u-turn and went back to his speed trap.
