I almost bought a TT instead of a Crossfire 3 years ago actually. Now that I've seen the new TT's, I wouldn't pony up any money for the last gen. U-G-L-Y compared to these new ones, but I can't afford one right now. 3 years ago, it was used Audi TT or new Chrysler Crossfire. Since they are almost exactly the same performance-wise on paper, I went with the new, better-looking one.
