Re: No Start. RCM IS NOT MY PROBLEM
Thanks for all the support and replies.
This morning the guy who sold the car to me came over to help me. He also owns a crossfire and is member of one of the clubs. He had a spare RCM that we installed, and the problem still persisted all the lights come on but no response from engine.
I really wish that the RCM was my problem because all the symptoms were there, but it seems my problem might be a little more complex.
I've also replaced the battery with a 48-72 i got from O'reilly auto parts.
I haven't checked the starter as I don't have a lift and car sits to low to get to starter. also the guy who sold me the car is going to pay to have it towed to a mechanic he trusts just to put it on a lift and check the starter.
Could this possibly be a cam or crankshaft position sensor problem?
When that is the issue does the car always turn over also?
I also have the issue where my radiator fan comes on really strong and I believe stays on so long as the key is turned on I don't think it shuts off except when car is turned off of course.
So hopefully I will have good news next week. but I will definitely keep this thread updated because I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
