I did use 2 SLK hitches to start with, but they are nothing like what they started out as. It would be cheaper and faster just to measure mine and have your hitches made up. I would be happy to let someone with the technical ability measure and do up a set of prints as long as the result would be free to everyone else.

I'm still looking for a trailer, but I have two times the load capability of an SLK and the hitches are mounted the same way a SLK hitch is installed. My intent is to hall a small, less then 600 lb total weight trailer to support tires and tools for a day at the track.

My apologies for resurrecting an old thread, but seems that we are lacking the conclusion to a good story.

To BLACKSRT-6 (if you're still around), how did your trailer hitch turn out? Any feedback one way or the other? Are you satisfied with its performance? And just which 2 SLK hitch receivers did you start out with? Part numbers, please. More pic's, please.

Bravo for a really clever installation.
