So the situation get's more strange. Yesterday I was playing around with my fan and I was getting it to spin freely as fast as I could and then it kicked on and started turning on and off when I turned the a/c on and off which is a good sign. The fan is giving a squeeking noise from time to time sounding like it is coming from the motor assembly, sometimes the fan will wind down to a stop when the a/c is on and sometimes it'll just kick on. When the coolant light comes on if I go to the fan and spin it fast again it will kick back on. So now I am thinking more along the lines of my fan being the problem and not my control module and or the thermostat but it's just completely strange. I have only had the light come back on once since I got it spinning on it own yesterday and that happened after we tried to guage the volts with a voltage meter from the fan control when the a/c was on it was reading nothing but when we plugged the plug into the fan again the fan kicked on. Does anyone here know if the fan module will give you volts if it is not plugged into the fan itself, because it doesn't seem that way? Well for now at least I know that it has the ability to work sometimes lol, cars...GOTTA LOVE EM!
