Re: Car wash story
Response to Robin T., I guess. I've had a Black Limited Coupe (auto for the woman of the house -- yuck!) for a couple of months. I have some small complaints (mirror control under the right elbow, for one and dots for heat control and others to small to enumerate), but all in all, the car's exactly what I bought it for. Last car was an early PT which turned heads; now the XFire does the same. As a former Vette owner/racer, I wanted some performance. The XFire won't get off the line like a Vette, but midrange it's comparable. Handling is far superior. I will want to play with both intake and exhaust for a bit of performance and to turn some ears. If sales catch on, I expect a plethora of dealer-available modifications as happened with the PT; we'll see. As far as competitive? I've thought the XFire looked good from the beginning. When you compare it price wise, I don't think there's anything that can touch it for looks, speed (midrange) and handling. I'll be back...
Everybody be good!
