When I drive my roadster at the speed limit (or close) it averages 29-32mpg. I strongly recommend cutting through Canada...the 401 is a fun drive even if you may have to wait a while at customs. If you fill up in Port Huron or at the duty free gas station in Windsor you can make it halfway to Quebec at least before buying Imperial gallons.
