When Road & Track and or Car & Driver did their original tests they only averaged something like 18 mpg from the 6 speed......they must have really drove the snot out of them.....try as I might, I've never been able to get less than 23.5 mpg.....typically get 24.7 & I hit 100 almost every day. I do believe 30 is possible on a trip kept to 70 mph......but I'll never be able to do that!! I use real gas ...no ETOH.
