Sorry-now to the other question: What do you mean by "normal carbon fiber" version? Glossy? 3M doesn't make one. Satin/dry appearance only. But I spoke to the guys at Metrorestyling.com and was told that this product is as good as the 3M offering:
Carbon Fiber Vinyl
Same application techniques.
