Default Re: Changing Fuel Filter

hey road dog
ill tell you how to change your fuel filter. you need a 10mm socket, at least a 12 inch extention, side cutters, both a phillps and standard screwdriver, 4 fuel injection clamps i think 3 are 3/8 and 1 is 3/16. next. the fuel filter itself is located in front of the right cv shaft covered by a plactic cover. the cover is held on by 3 10mm nuts and a button. once removed you will see your fuel pump and your fuel filter. first thing you do is put on safety glasses! next, the fuel filter has 4 lines going to it, remember where they go. using you side cutters cut off the old clamps. next, its better to use a pair of regular pliers to first crack lines before pulliing them off, this is just so you don't rip the lines. use your phillps screw driver to undue the screw that holds it in, you don't need to take it right out. and thats it. all and all it could talk you about 10 min. good luck buddy
