I did have a Sheriff pull up next to me Monday at a stop light and roll down his window.... I roll my down to see what he wants and he says... 'Thanks for your service.'....... (I have Viet Nam vet plates).. that was a bit of a surprise.....
Yes... thanks for your service! Our politicians (our president himself) seem to forget and stomp on our vets... but the good American people still understand, respect and appreciate our vets.
