We do a lot of out-of-town trips and would prefer to have a small collection of parts on-hand in the car.....just in case.
If you are stuck in the middle of nowhere with a CPS failure you may have it in your trunk but the few simple tools to replace it should be in your trunk as well.
A supply of spare bulbs is always an asset as well. A cop may let you off a ticket if you can supply one on the spot.
Lastly don't forget to keep your spare tire inflated as well.
