Well yeah, I can understand that a whole SLK front end would look like crap, because it doesn't go with the lines of the XF. What I was suggesting was some how modifying the hood of the SLK and fabricate a grill that resembles or modify the grill from the 2008 C300. Personally I think the blistered hood from the SLK if the front lip was modified right could possibly look hot. then again maybe any style hood that didnt have the Sebring ribs or one that was a bit smoother would be an improvement. I just dont like the rib and the lines in the hood... looks too busy.. or over done.
Dont get me wrong though.. the XF is the most beautiful car I have seen on the road.... just not that fond of the Chrysler hood.... and it looks like there are other people in the same boat.
I don't like the hood, or any of the front end (headlights, grille...). The fenders are cool, but I've been pondering changing everything else. From head on, it looks way too much like a Sebring.
