Even comparing our car to the Z, S2000 and RX-8 is silly as those cars are geared more towards perf rather all around like our car. That being said, I wished I'd checked out the used EVOs in our area.
The EVO isn't all that great, they watch you like a hawk for mods and such. And the turbo lag is killer. Handles great though. I prefer the STi. But next toy is an 03 cobra for sure. If i find one cheap SRT-4 is going bye bye.
