Before you listen to the advice from someone here, you really should actually read the manual that came with your car! I have seen some truely useful advice here, but if you put 8 quarts of oil in your crossfire, it will be coming out the dipstick tube. The manual clearly says that the oil capacity is 6.1 qts.
