I keep my XFs garaged but use the Walmart inexpensive covers. I also have oem bras on both and they work great. Just make sure they are clean underneath. Since I rarely drive in the rain and never in the snow, it has not been a problem. I put a couple extra coats of wax on the front of the hood to help protect it from scratching and remove it monthly to clean.
