This is very true in my lifetime i never imagined such gross neglegence behind the wheel. My wildest imagination couldn't have thought someone would go fullthrottle in the rain merging onto a highway from the shoulder and shoot sideways across a 3 lane highway. In fact i thought for sure right before the hit she would go behind me but she came over alot faster than anticipated. There was only fractions of a second to react which i did but it wasnt enough.
Back when I rode a motorcycle I learned to always expect every car driver on the road - every driver around me - to do something incredibly stupid. And I am never let down whenever it eventually happens. There is no amount of defensive maneuvers you could have done to prevent this accident, and going through all this just sucks. As others have said, at least you didn't suffer more serious injuries, and the car can always be replaced.
