Just collected my 05 and sure enough, the rear hatch groans and creaks over bumps.

The latch is okay but the rubber stoppers are a crinkle-cut pattern and I can actually see the crinkle-cut embedded into the duco where they come into contact with the gutter. I figured the little rubber feet flex as the hatch flexes so for a work-around fix I put some loop adhesive Velcro where the stoppers come into contact with the gutters. Cured the issue.



BUT, I still have another very annoying body flex squeak emanating from somewhere in the vicinity of the rear quarter glass, way deep inside the trim, or maybe in the roof lining in the same area ??

The dealer had his tech working on the issue for 4 hours, pulled all the trim and lining out, centre punched body spot welds per TSB, stuffed foam and silicon spray into crevices but all to no avail! They’ll have another crack at it but with the Chrysler field Tech next week. Not impressed for brand new spanker. Will keep you posted.
