Re: Lower seat?
Boy you have me on this one I wasn't even aware that they made a full manual seat.
Please don't take this wrong but later in thier run they really did some cheap moves to try to make $$ and sell some cars. They originally were quite expensive. As whether or not they are innerchangable I just had my seats out and YES I would have to guess you could swap sides if they you swap out the seat belt atachments.
It is very, very easy to remove seats. You will need a set of Torx wrnches and sockets. These can be purchased very cheap from any full service auto store or hardware store or for a few bucks more Sears has several good metric Torx sets. You will need a 17mm open end wrench or socket for the seat belt bolt.
To remove slide seat all they way foreward, move seat back forward and remove the torx bolt on the seat rail. Move seat all the way back and do the same to the front 2 bolts on the rails. remove shoulder/seat belt (17mm) bolt undernieth you need to unlug the electric seat belt warning plug and the seat comes right out. trust me the way I worded this it sounds more difficult than it actually is.
DON"T GIVE UP ON THE CROSSFIRE! At least try to swap them aound. There are alot of very tall guys that have Crossfires BUT they have the electric seats which can be adjusted up and down so I assume the passenger seat is every bit as low as the electric Drivers seat is. If you need more help let me know...
