I have been thinking about trying to bend it, but after I'm in, I'm ok, but getting in is tough. Hopefully, it will help keep me limper enough to age better.

you can also remove the plastic trim by your knee's, there is a how-to thread for that also, it helped me a ton @ 6'2" as i'm able to move the seat a bit further forward and recline more.
