Default Re: SLK/SRT6 engine swap, which one easiest?

[quote=LantanaTX]We should have a engine swap and aftermarket forced induction section! A SRT/SLK32/C32 engine will go right in but will not just start up. You would need the complete engine, engine wiring harness and an ECU from a SLK32 or C32 not one from a SRT. Rudy (Rcompart) can program the ECU to the car. Also a automatic car would be easier. You could also go with a n/a 55 if you really want to go fast or even a 500 engine like I did which will give great performance and are dirt cheap to get.[/quo

Am I mistaken that if I were to take a stock SRT6 motor with all it's goodies that you also need the TCU from the SRT6 to make it work with the n/a? I too have seen the LKQ ones on eBay. They all include engine, ECU, tranny and TCU but no harness.
