BMWs already solved it for ya, no need to be more specific on the description It's the pressure (from the weight of the car rolling either forward or back) on the that park 'Pawl' inside the trans. If you set your brake, go to neutral to let the car settle against the brake, then go to park, a cookie says the noise won't happen when you go to leave
