Easy Bob! Just didn't see your results amongst all of the SB threads.
Your comments were just what I was looking for!
For those that are interested in Bob's comments I have posted them here.

Hey, SOMEBODY had to do it!

I believe that with the older ones there were 2 to choose from; 1 was too responsive(jerky) for many folks and the other was smoother. The older members would know more about this. I believe that they just gave us both capabilities w/ the newer "Selectable" version. Perhaps ask them if the older one that you're looking at is more like the "Sport Mode" or the "Race Mode" in the newer version? Whatever you decide; you will have way better response than stock, for certain.

My wife loves the new response in sport mode and thought I "chipped it" until I explained to her about throttle by wire. The Race mode does freak her out though, and I always remember to leave it in sport mode after I'm done playing. I found the little selecter button lights were a little bright for my taste, so I mounted it up directly under the steering column. Out of sight, but within reach. At night it is a nice dim green glow(or red,if your out speeding about) for the pedal area. Yes, it was a little pricey @ $329. but would say for certain that it's a good bang for the buck. I know that a lot of Forum members have the older SB's and know there were (2) models, (1) was too aggressive for some. They must have just put the 2 into 1 and gave us a light button to switch between the modes. I'm enjoying it. The only negative I have was having to contort top half of body down into the pedal area. If I had to do it again(and for us old guys)I would just remove the drivers seat and eliminate a lot of frustration! And I found that a pair of standard tweezers spread open(couldn't find my magnet) worked perfect to pull the washer up & out from pedal stud after removing the 10mm nut.
