It's been an interesting thread, (hearing everybody's opinions and all). But it's all accidemic when you come right down to it. That is, if the "Tree Huggers" have their way.
In 20 or 30 years from now, we'll probably all be driving battery or solar powered "Smart Cars" that top out at 45 mph and have a 100 mile range.
Fossil fuel car will probably be outlawed, relegated only to museums, and vilified for very nearly bringing the human race to extinction.
My suggestion? Drive the wheels off of them, enjoy the heII out of them, and if per chance you still have one 20 years down the line...restore em.
