Both are true. The car shifts faster due to more responsive revs with less pedal travel required. Ultimately, it always depends on how hard you press the pedal down. A feather-footed driver will not notice it as much (or even need this mod) as much as a lead-foot driver would.

It all comes down to this. Do you not like the fact that it takes almost a full second for your stock setup to get the car moving when you press the pedal down? If the answer is yes, then Sprint Booster will solve this problem for you instantly.
