As for me, I think the
Schott Axiom is probably the best aftermarket for folks who like the base OEM wheel concept but not the execution.
I've never even heard of Schott, and I'm totally glad you pointed them out to me. This is single-handedly the most gorgeous wheel I have seen. Leave the lip chrome, paint the wheel face Alabaster, but leave the little chrome insets on each spoke unpainted. And, of course, leave the wheel bolts chrome.
I've always had a soft spot for ten-spoke wheels...
