Forget the penny and you sure can't tell by eyeballing. Before you go to the dealer the next time, stop by an auto parts store and pick up a tire depth gauge for a couple of dollars. Check out the tires on a new car and you will find the PS2's are in fact 10/32" front and 9.5/32" rear.
